The FNC Grows by One!

The FNC has been together now for five years. (Hard to believe, right?! And we didn't even do anything to celebrate our anniversary! We're such an old married couple.) And it's always been the four of us.

Well, the FNC is about to gain its newest, youngest member...

Release date July 2012! Let's just hope it knows not to eat our manuscripts :)

(No, I don't know it's a boy or a girl--we're going to be surprised! Yes, I totally pushed for the girl name Katniss. Also, I may or may not have had a dream in which John Green was my doctor.)

  1. Congrats! Katniss being delivered by John Green - that'd be something!

  2. Heeeee! I think we may have to nickname your baby Katniss until further notice. Also I would totally want Dr. Green to deliver my baby.

  3. Katniss Renesmee... JUST KIDDING. Katniss yes, never Renesmee.

  4. I disagree, @Stephsco... never Katniss either! hehe (Though she's quite the awesome character, let's keep the name in fiction.) :)

  6. @Lenore--haha! I wish that could be my delivery!

    @Frankie--it would definitely be the funniest delivery ever.

    @Mary Ann & Christine--Thank you!!

    @Stephsco--Thanks! Yeah, Renesmee is a no-go. I do have a big list of literary-themed names I'm trying to get my husband to go for.

    @Donna--oh Donna, something tells me we have very different preferences on names. :) I would totally name my kid Katniss. (But not Peeta, or Gale.)

    @Anniecardi--Thank you!

  7. Again, congratulations! So happy for you, Sara!

    You'll have weirder dreams than that before the big day, believe me.

    Katniss always reminds me of catnip. Never liked that name. But you could call her Kat. If it's a girl. Because, um, you probably wouldn't want to saddle a boy with that name! Just call him John.

  8. Congratulations Sara! What wonderful news! BTW, I have 3 girls, so I went through many, many names before I found what I loved... When you find it, it just feels right, and you'll know.

  9. AWWWWW! That's so exciting! Congrats on the little one and I hope everyone is healthy and happy and growing well (without the morning sickness nastiness)!!!!

    Smiles!

  10. @Joanne--Thank you! We'll probably go with a family name--we have a few in mind.

    @Steph--Thank you! :)

    @Jaybird--3 girls, wow! We both like names that have a lot of meaning/history behind them, so we've got a few ideas.

    @Jess--Thanks!

    @Lori--Thank you! I was one of the lucky few, I seemed to have avoided the whole puking thing altogether.
